Message from the Chairman

Dear Parent, I am delighted to dedicate Indus World School at DLF, Phase IV to the community of Gurgaon. For Career Launcher, Delhi or the NCR happens to be the home ground. This is the place where we started as entrepreneurs about 13 years ago. When CL entered the space of school education in the form of Indus World School, our first two schools took shape at Hyderabad and Indore for a variety of reasons. Over the past three years, our chain of schools has grown. In the year 2009, IWS / Ananda would be operational in over 11 cities including Mandi, Bhiwani, Raipur, Ahmednagar, Noida etc,.

Gurgaon – The Educational Hub In that context of CL, our first full-fledged school project at Gurgaon is of value to us. We visualize IWS, Gurgaon growing into a fountainhead of academic excellence and a hub of inspiring leadership for the IWS schools in this part of the country and also a ‘Jewel in the Crown’ for the nearby community. A lot of our growth plans are centred in and around NCR and particularly, Gurgaon. We have plans to grow a large campus of education near Gurgaon (Sohna). The campus is visualized to house the senior school, a teachers training academcy as well as the proposed Indus World Unviersity. That is why, we look at our Gurgaon initiative as one that will grow to become a thriving campus of academic excellence. I keenly look forward to bringing in a bunch of innovative and meaningful programs that would go on and add value to the entire community including the children, the parents, the grandparents etc,. . Most importantly, we also wish to bring a lot of education value to the under-privileged children in and around Gurgaon. You will hear more about this shortly. As they say, doing is more important than talking. First of all, I am impatient to see the tiny-tots on our campus at DLF in June 2009. I also look forward to your contribution (in any form) to make our hopes and dreams a reality. We know that a school essentially belongs to the community.
